The wrapped hoses are in higher performance than traditional silicone hoses, an improved range of flexibility and availability in larger sizes. The standard wrapped silicone hose is 4ply polyester reinforced 5.0mm wall thickness. The continuous working temperature of wrapped silicone hose is 200 degree C. It can resists temperature extremes, chemical attack, ozone, radiation, moisture and environmental exposure.
This silicone hose wrap, if manufactured with a wire spiral in-planted inside the reinforcement plies, has an excellent flexibility and can withstand higher pressures. Because of its flexibility, it fits the lots of industrial applications. The hose can be bent to fit many different applications.
